Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by Aljaž Romih ("I", "me", "my") on Google Play and the Apple App Store — current and future — unless a specific app provides its own separate policy.

My apps serve different purposes, so not every section below applies to every app. Each section explains when it applies (for example, "apps that offer an account" or "apps that show ads"). I collect only the data needed to provide the feature you are using.

2. Information Collected

Depending on which app you use and which features you enable, the following may apply:

• On-device apps — Some apps work entirely on your device, with no account. The data you enter and any location used is processed on your device to provide the feature and is not sent to or stored by me.
• Account information — If an app offers an account, you provide an email address and password. This is stored on my behalf by a third-party cloud backend provider and is used to sign you in and sync your data across your devices.
• Content you enter — Some apps let you create and store your own content (such as entries, schedules, reminders, or other information you choose to add). This is saved to your account so the app can work, and is accessible only to you and anyone you explicitly choose to share it with.
• Location — Some apps request your location to provide location-based features (such as showing nearby results). Depending on the app, location is processed on your device and/or sent to a backend service to return results. I do not use your location for advertising.
• Advertising identifiers — Apps that display ads work with a third-party advertising service that may access a resettable advertising identifier and related device data (see Section 4).
• Technical & device information — Basic information such as device model, operating system version, language, and time zone may be used to operate the app, schedule on-device notifications correctly, and by the third-party services described below.

3. How Your Information Is Used

Information is used only to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the features of each app
• Authenticate your account and sync your content across devices (for apps with accounts)
• Display and measure advertisements (for apps that show ads)
• Deliver reminders and notifications you have enabled
• Keep the apps secure and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

I do not sell your personal data, and I do not use your content to build advertising profiles.

4. Advertising

Some apps are free and supported by ads displayed through a third-party advertising service. To serve and measure ads, that service may collect the following from your device:

• A resettable advertising identifier — used for ad targeting and frequency capping
• IP address — used to infer approximate location for regional ad targeting
• Device information — model, OS version, screen size, language
• Ad interaction data — which ads are shown, tapped, and how long they are viewed
• Diagnostic data — crash reports and performance data

5. Notifications

Some apps can send you reminders or notifications (for example, scheduled reminders). These are generated and scheduled on your device. You can turn them off at any time in the app's settings or your device's notification settings.

6. Data Sharing

I do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data may be processed by the service providers that operate parts of the apps on my behalf — namely cloud backend / hosting providers and the advertising and consent services — strictly to provide the relevant features.

Some apps let you choose to share your own content with people you invite (for example, granting access to someone you trust). This only ever happens at your direction.

7. EU / EEA Users & GDPR

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing.

The legal bases for processing are:

• Consent — for personalised ads and device tracking
• Performance of a contract — to provide an account and the features you request
• Legitimate interests — to keep the apps secure and functioning

In the EEA, apps that show ads display a consent prompt (powered by a consent-management tool) before any personalised ads are served. On iOS, apps also ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before accessing tracking identifiers.

8. Your Choices & Controls

• Permissions — Grant or revoke location and notification permissions at any time in your device settings. Apps continue to work without optional permissions where possible.
• Advertising identifier — Reset or delete it in your device privacy settings (Android), or decline tracking via App Tracking Transparency (iOS).
• Ad consent — Change or withdraw your ad consent at any time from the app's privacy settings.
• Your account & content — For apps with accounts, you can edit or delete your content, and request deletion of your account, in the app or by contacting me (see Section 14).

9. Permissions

Depending on the app and platform, an app may request the following permissions:

• Location — for apps with location-based features, to show relevant nearby results.
• Notifications — for apps that send reminders or alerts.
• Network / Internet — to load content and, where applicable, advertisements.
• Advertising ID — for apps that show ads, subject to your consent.

10. Data Retention

Data kept on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. For apps with accounts, your account and content are kept until you delete them or ask me to delete your account, after which they are removed from the backend within a reasonable period (unless I am legally required to retain certain records). Data collected by the advertising provider is retained according to that provider's own policy.

11. Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data exchanged with backend providers is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and is access-controlled. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

My apps are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving in my apps is not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me and I will take appropriate steps.

13. Changes to This Policy

If I make material changes to this privacy policy, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for significant changes I will also update the relevant app store listings. I encourage you to review this policy periodically.
